Chabri's institutional brick stoves are custom-built on-site by our installation team — sized to your cooking volume, configured to the number of pots you need, and finished to operate reliably for years. The construction uses locally available materials and the gasification combustion principle that powers all our stoves: fuel is burned in two stages, first releasing combustible gas for high-temperature cooking, then transitioning to a charcoal phase that completes the heat curve. The result is a fire that burns hotter, longer, and far cleaner than a conventional institutional kitchen flame — using significantly less fuel.

The portable JikoSMART is a stainless steel gasifier stove built around the same combustion principle as our institutional installations — sized for households, food entrepreneurs, and bulk distribution through empowerment programmes. A small fan, powered by home electricity or solar, drives airflow through the combustion chamber for clean, efficient heat with almost no smoke. JikoSMART burns KuniSMART briquettes optimally, but also accepts agricultural waste, plant material, and timber offcuts — making it usable wherever biomass is freely available.
